Our aim is to develop the surrounding society and to build sustainable relationships with all employees, managers, shareholders, and external stakeholders of Sofia Airport and create a shared value in a positive and transparent way. In our business endeavors, we consider the impact that our activities have on our people and society, and keep social aspects in mind when planning and implementing our business development. It is important for us as a company to create added value not only for shareholders and investors, but also for Bulgarian society and its vulnerable groups. We strive to educate employees to understand the social role of SOF Connect and the impact we have on the community we are part of. We do not interfere with the operation of trade unions or other representative organisations within our organisation. We have a confidential grievance mechanism that is available to all workers (and their organisations, if any) to raise concerns about recruitment and workplace practices, without fear of intimidation, discrimination or retaliation, allowing for zero tolerance of any form of harassment when or during executing job functions. Prior to undertaking any collective redundancies, we will carry out an analysis to identify alternatives to retrenchment. In the event of collective redundancies, we will develop a retrenchment plan in line with national law and good practice and based on the principles of non-discrimination and consultation.

At SOF Connect, we are committed to discussing CSR initiatives internally and choosing together those causes that help society.
