We would like to inform passengers and visitors of Sofia Airport that аs of 1 May 2022, parking prices will change at Sofia Airport’s two public car parks in Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Details can be found here.

Level B1 of the public car parking at Terminal 2 is temporarily closed. The remaining parking levels are at your disposal. While we apologize for any inconvenience caused, we kindly ask you to observe the parking organization in place.

As of 1 May 2022 all COVID-19 related travel restrictions are lifted.

Information about travelling to different countries is published on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.

All scheduled flights arriving in the time range 8 pm–8 am will be served only at Terminal 2. This will facilitate faster processing of documents and the passing of passengers. There will be no change for flights landing on schedule before 8:00 at Terminal 1. They will not move to Terminal 2 to avoid the inconvenience of travelers and their meters and greeters. All business flights will be operated at Terminal 1.

 

Covid laboratories

For the convenience of travelers, COVID-19 testing laboratories have been set up in the public areas of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 to issue the necessary travel health certificates.

The PCR test result is ready within 2 hours and the antigen test within 20 minutes. The services are available not only to arriving and departing passengers, but also to all citizens.

Processing of personal data

 

Personal data means any information relating to a natural person that can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors.

The Personal data protection policy explains how we collect and use your personal data and informs you of your rights of privacy. SOF Connect AD has updated its data policy in order to meet the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation applicable from 25.05.2018.

 

The Personal data protection policy provides you with information on what to expect when SOF Connect AD processes personal data, when you use www.sofia-airport.eu, in case you perform maintenance work, delivery of goods to stores or other activities requiring a security pass, when  you are at the airport, pass through the airport areas with public or restricted access, when you use our services, when you submit a claim for lost personal belongings on the territory of Sofia Airport, when we send you press releases and marketing materials, when we have to reply to your inquiries.

 

Personal data we collect:

1. When you fill out the online VIP Lounge form here

 

2. Customer Service Data – Records of products and services you have used. This includes details of salons or our other services used. You provide this information yourself – voluntarily when you use our services.

 

3. Contact history with us – This details, in chronological order, any enquiry, complaint or request you have made to SOF Connect AD and may include copies of correspondence. You provide us with this information when you contact us to make an enquiry or complaint/request.

 

4. SOF Connect AD collects information about how you use our website: www.sofia-airport.eu. This includes collecting unique online identifiers, such as IP addresses, which are numbers that uniquely identify a particular computer or other network device on the Internet.

 

5.When we issue a temporary pass (“Accompanied” or “Unaccompanied”) to any of the Airport’s access areas, we collect and process the following personal information:

5.1. First name, patronymic and surname;

5.2. ID

5.3. Place of birth

5.4. Nationality;

5.5. Mobile telephone number;

5.6. Address;

5.7. Position with the legal entity submitting the application;

5.8. Details of the employment/civil service contract of the person to whom the pass is issued (date, for term);

5.9 Employment reference, to the extent permitted by law;

5.10. The authorised person’s resume;

5.11. What activity the person will perform;

5.12. Where in the security zones the activity will be conducted;

Information should be provided directly by you or your employer. Failure to provide some of the information may result in the pass being refused.

 

6. When we issue a temporary vehicle pass, we collect and process the following personal information:

6.1. Registration number;

6.2. Brand;

6.3. Model;

6.4. Users of the vehicle;

6.5. Name and signature of a person oriented by specimen;

The information is provided directly by you or your employer. Failure to provide some of the information may result in the pass being refused.

 

7. Video Footage – Images recorded by CCTV used to protect all visitors, our staff and property. We will record your image if you visit a location where CCTV is in place(both public and restricted areas).
